Advanced 3D Whole Body CT Scan Services in Perundurai

Computed Tomography (CT Scan) is a sophisticated medical imaging test that combines X-rays with computer technology to produce highly detailed, 3D cross-sectional images of your body's internal structures. At our facility, we utilize advanced imaging to provide accurate diagnoses and effective treatment planning for a wide range of medical conditions.

Why is a CT Scan Necessary?

Doctors utilize CT scans to gain a detailed view of internal anatomical structures, which is essential for:

  1. Evaluating Injuries: Assessing traumatic injuries such as bone fractures, internal bleeding, or head trauma.
Cancer Diagnosis and Monitoring: Identifying the presence, location, and growth of tumors, including brain, chest, abdominal, and pelvic cancers.
  2. Infection Detection: Locating and determining the severity of infections like pneumonia or abscesses.
  3. Organ and Vessel Health: Detecting blockages or abnormalities in blood vessels and internal organs.
  4. Guiding Procedures: Providing visual guidance for medical procedures like biopsies or catheter placement.

  • Dietary Restrictions: You may be asked to fast for a few hours if your scan requires contrast dye. Your doctor will provide specific instructions.
  • Medical History: * Inform us of any medications you are taking, especially for diabetes or blood thinners.
Disclose any allergies, particularly to iodine or contrast dyes.
Notify your doctor if you have kidney disease, heart disease, or asthma.
  • Pregnancy: It is vital to inform your doctor if you are or might be pregnant, as radiation can be harmful to a developing fetus
